Summer of trail maintenance

This summer there has been rain, high river and more rain. It has caused a lot of work for our trail coordinators and volunteers. Mud, downed trees and trail falling off in the river are just a few of the ailments. Mud creek and the sugar loop have been closed for much of the summer. Efforts are underway to get them open this fall though.

I can’t say enough good things about the work that Art King, Pam and Ric Wilkins have done to try to keep the trails open and safe. It has definitely been a challenge.

The next trail work day is Nov. 2 at 10 am. We need all volunteers to come help out on the trail. We will have fun too!
